Andreas Farmakalidis
Andreas Farmakalidis, a Berklee college of music (BA), codarts (Ba), Harvard (MA), and Brandeis University Graduate (MFA) is an accomplished music educator, award-winning songwriter, and passionate advocate for the arts.
With a rich background that bridges political science, education, and music, Andreas is dedicated to fostering the transformative power of music in both educational and community settings.
A recipient of the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Contest award and a Hollywood Music Award, Andreas's talents extend far beyond the classroom. His experience as a touring and recording musician has given him a deep understanding of the music industry, which he now channels into his educational initiatives.
As the Vice Chair of the North Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce and an active member of the Granada Hills Rotary Club, Andreas has been instrumental in supporting and promoting various music-related programs. He is actively involved in creating and implementing music curriculums for all levels of education, aimed at inspiring social-emotional growth and cultural appreciation.
